Delete your account and data

You can delete your CulvertVPN account and the data associated with it at any time. This page
explains how, what gets deleted, and what we are required to keep.
The short version. Delete from inside the app in a few taps, or email us and
we will do it for you. Either way your account, email and device identity are erased, and your
subscription and connection records are removed on the schedule below.
Option 1 — delete in the app
- Open CulvertVPN and go to Settings.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
- Your account, registered email (if any) and on-device identity are removed immediately, and the
records below are deleted on their retention schedule.
Option 2 — request deletion by email
If you can no longer open the app, email
admin@appgeek.co from the address you registered with (or tell
us your account's recovery reference). We will verify the request and delete your data within
30 days, and confirm when it is done. There is no charge.
What gets deleted
- Your account and, if you registered for Premium, your email address.
- Your device identity (the device key) and device registrations.
- Your stored IP address (which we keep for at most 30 days for abuse prevention).
- Your subscription record. Note that billing is managed by Google Play — cancel the
subscription itself in your Google Play account so it does not renew.
What we keep, and why
- Anonymous aggregates. Per-connection records are already deleted within 24 hours and kept
only as anonymous daily totals that cannot be tied to you. These remain, because they contain no
personal data.
- Records the law requires (for example, tax or billing records for a completed purchase)
for as long as we are legally required to hold them, and no longer.
What we never had
We do not log the sites or apps you visit, your DNS queries, or the contents of your traffic, and
our exit servers hold no record that ties a connection to you — so there is nothing of that kind to
